There's a lot going on in the US right now. It can seem hopeless, out of our control. And, a lot of the time, it is out of our control. But know where we have real power, where we can make a real difference? Right here in Idaho, in Canyon County, in Nampa. We can have a direct impact on issues that affect all of us, like:
Housing Costs
Housing costs have become a huge burden for Nampa and Canyon County residents. We need to work on a combination of government and private sector solutions to reduce rents and increase the supply of quality, affordable housing.
Medicaid Expansion
Idahoans did something extraordinary in 2018. We got an initiative to expand Medicaid access on the ballot, and it *won*. And every day since, the Republicans in the Legislature have chipped away at it, going against the will of the people. Let's make healthcare EASIER for us to get, not harder.
Public Education
Our public schools are under attack from the Republican politicians in power. They fundamentally do not believe in public education, and their private school voucher program will both cripple our public schools and tank the budget. Idahoans deserve better.
Volunteer!
Make a difference in Nampa!

There's so many ways that you can help!
Whether you love talking to people, prefer sitting behind a keyboard, or just want to help any way you can, there's tons of work to be done! Volunteer to help get Cliff elected and get real representation for Nampa in the Statehouse.
Why I'm Running
Obligation to the community
This is my 2nd run for this office. During my 1st run, I met so many people… liberals, independents, conservatives… who were grateful someone was standing up for them. They were surprised to have their concerns be heard and taken seriously. Folks in Idaho feel like most politicians don’t care about them, and unfortunately, I believe they are correct. I owe it to these residents to keep working and fighting for them.
Fighting extremism
Our politics has been taken over by extremists who don’t have our best interests at heart. We need leaders who work to solve real problems, not stoke fear and anger about imaginary ones.
But aren't you a... uggh... a Democrat?
Yeah. I am running as a Democrat. And look, I get it. I’m not thrilled with this party most of the time either. So do what I do… judge folks by their words and actions, not the “R” or “D” by their name on the ballot.
