Tired of representatives who care more about what's on cable news than what's going on in Nampa? We don't need book bans. We don't need to "own the libs." We have real problems here that affect everyone, whether they're left or right or don't give a darn either way. Like these:
Housing Costs
Housing costs have become a huge burden for Nampa and Canyon County residents. We need to work on a combination of government and private sector solutions to reduce rents and increase the supply of quality, affordable housing.
Education
Our schools are falling behind. Our school buildings need repair, we need to retain quality teachers, and both things require more funding than the insufficient amount this legislature has allowed. School libraries and fact-based education are under attack, and it's up to us to defend them.
Reproductive Healthcare
Idaho's severe abortion restrictions not only put the lives of Idahoans at risk and reduces their control over their own bodies, it has driven experienced women's health physicians from our state. It also opens the door for bans on fertility treatments and even birth control.
Volunteer!
Make a difference in Nampa!
There's so many ways that you can help!
Whether you love talking to people, prefer sitting behind a keyboard, or just want to help any way you can, there's tons of work to be done! Volunteer to help get Cliff elected and get real representation for Nampa in the Statehouse.
Why I'm Running
Obligation to serve
As a kid in the Boy Scouts, I learned that it’s our duty to leave any place we visit better off than how we found it. I figure that’s not only good advice for a campsite in the woods, it’s good for the place you live, too. I have an obligation to try make District 13 a better place for everyone.
Fighting extremism
Our politics has been taken over by extremists who don’t have our best interests at heart. We need leaders who work to solve real problems, not stoke fear and anger about imaginary ones.
